When J gets bored

I had the most pleasant surprise today.

We are still over at my mum's and it was the morning where every one of the adults are busy with their own things. 

J was left pretty much left alone.

I saw her walk to the shoe rack to pick up her sneakers, then went to sit on the deck chair and tried to put them on. That kept her entertained for half an hour before she got off the chair and came to each one of us to "tadaah!" 

She isn't able to wear her sneakers properly yet (she forgot to lift the flap) but she managed to fit her entire foot in. On the correct side.

I spend hours planning activities for her and she took only 5 to 10 minutes with those. But when I leave her on her own, she could sit quietly and spend a good 30 minutes learning to put on her shoes. 

Perhaps I should take a break for the activities and keep her bored. ;)
