You slammed the door grille on your fingers today. Ah Gong was the one watching you when it happened so he was extremely guilty. We were not around then because we were at home, cleaning up the study room.
I heard that you were very sweet about it. Of course you did cry. It's painful. But Ah Gong told me that when he was feeling really bad about it, you pulled him by the finger and brought him to the room. Then you opened and closed your hands. He felt that you were telling him that you are fine, so he told you "Ah Gong is okay."
Then you held him by the finger and walked out of the room and acted as if nothing happened.
It's a little act on your part, but Ah Gong is really touched. And he's really proud that his granddaughter has such a kind heart.
We also noted how you gave a look of empathy then proceeded to sayang (place your head on our faces) yiyi when she bumped her head on the refrigerator. Or when you noticed that Popo ha a plaster on her arm, went "Oww" and tried to make her better by leaning your head on ours.
Keep growing that way, little one.
Love you tonnes,
Mommy
