A week of "Happy" 04

Alright. I've been doing this for a month now and this feels great!

1. Skies like these (yes, again)
Very non-Singapore-ish.
And it made the traffic jam more bearable because it felt like a road trip.
Awesome sunset.

2. The husband was on leave.
On a weekday.
And we get to go out.
This is J after her BabySpa session because she refused to lie down and sleep. Saw her nodding off like that afterwards. Made my day!

3. Happy pillows
Scored these at $36 for two.
The Eiffel Tower and nutcracker one.
The sis bought the one in the middle, which I love.
A desperate attempt to spruce up the house a little because it looked a tad plain.

4. J napping on her own (with pacifier, yes. But no patting.) Twice.
We were busy over the weekends so while we went about with our chores, J played with her toys in the playpen. Then it got suspiciously quiet and when I went to check on her, she was lying in a corner of the playpen, playing with her toes. 10 minutes later after I'm finally done with the kitchen chores, we found her fast asleep in her playpen, pacifier in her mouth.

She did it again today.

5. Having a baby who is more sociable than her parents.
We attended a baby shower and a family event on Saturday and the bub was mesmerising everyone with her smile. She does know that a smile is a girl's best accessory.

6. Got J some pretty dresses.
I've never shopped during the Great Singapore Sale. I'm not sure why but it has something to do with the crowd and the chaos.
This GSS, I spotted good deals at Mothercare - past season's apparel at a 50% discount.
No one really cares if a baby wears clothes from the latest season as long as they look good in it, right?
So I went more than once and got J some pretties. And I think I could be addicted.
