The little things (4 months)

Ten more little things I want to remember about Lil' J now that she is four months old.

1. Baby's pretty lock of hair is slowly shedding. Now wherever her head touches, we find tiny strands of hair. :(

2. I notice that Lil' J rubs her feet together when she's unhappy. Especially noticeable when she's on the breastfeeding pillow. That behaviour is so familiar. It resembles... Me.

3. Lil' J seems to understand the bath routine pretty well now. When she sees the washcloth, she shuts her eyes (so that I can clean her face.)

4. Despite having no teeth at the moment, Lil' J bites her lower lips. Especially when she is trying hard to flip while I'm changing her diapers and I'm trying hard to stop her. I haven't quite figured if that is the look of determination, or the look of mischief.

5. Her cute slender fingers are rather chubby now. And I can't resist biting (lovingly) on her thighs.

6. Lil' J now flips and 'spins' while on her tummy. She's getting pretty good at it now. It takes only a few seconds and she is in a completely different orientation.

7. Bath-times are now "splash the water all over" time. Lil' J will occasionally turn to look at me when I'm washing her back to express her contentment. Too funny.

8. The little darling is the happiest when she wakes up from her naps. This is the time she gives her widest toothless smiles. Love them!

9. Red patches will appear on Baby's face when she is sleepy. Pimply red spots will appear on her eyes when she is very very sleepy.

10. Baby peeks at the TV! And she appears to be rather sneaky about it too. I don't know if it's the light, or the sounds, or she's just a natural TV addict like me.
