A letter to the gadget-users

Hi, dear person tapping away on the phone/tablet:

I understand that this might be the only time you get to watch that movie. Or try to get that record score you've been trying to for so many days. Or you are just that bit away from clearing the toughest level in the game. Trust me when I say  I understand because I really do. This is my only time to use the phone too.

But as you keep your eyes on the gadget, could you also, occasionally lift your head and take a look? Especially if you are sitting on the reserved seats. Because an elderly could have just boarded the bus (or train) and they have no seats. It could also be a mother carrying a small baby. Or like what I just saw, an elderly carrying a baby. I think he deserves that seat more than you do.

So please, be a little more aware. And don't be shy to give up that seat.

Love,
The momma who gave up my seat.
