Things I love about you #3

Still clearing my 'Drafts" folder and this was written when J was seven going on eight months old.


Dear Baby,

I love how you hold the milk bottle with one hand.

I love how you pick out your clothes, and the look on your face when you are faced with tough decisions. You don't say it but it looks like your thought process goes like this, "I want this." "No maybe that." "Maybe this after all."
 

I love how you get excited over the buses. "Oh!" "Ho!"
 

I love how you go "oh" and "hoo" when you hear sounds and you wonder where it is coming from/ what is it.

I love that you are quite a dramatic and expressive baby.

I love how you eyes light up when you see magnetic toys on the door.
 

I love how pleased you are with yourself and that look of delight on your face when you realise you can cruise.

I love that you are social. You look at smile at everyone on the train.
 

I love how you don't hide emotions.
You scream when you are angry.
You smile at the sight of a dress you like.
 

I love that in a world of pretence, you, like other babies are so genuine.

I love you.
