It's a new year.
It's a good start.
We had a couple more health scares (between both of us) and thankfully, everything was fine by the time it was the Lunar New Year (Feb).
It's the new year.
It's a good start.
**********
We were due to stock up on my Chinese medicine from the sinseh.
I wasn't ready to stop until I was sure that GERD will leave me alone forever.
Since I was late, we decided I should do the pregnancy test.
Just in case.
I had an extra kit at home anyway.
I was unusually calm this time round.
My heart didn't pound as quickly as it did the last couple of times I peed on the stick.
Nothing was in my head except "Do it right this time. This kit is $16. Don't waste it like you did the first time round."
Well, not the exact words but something along that line.
Then I took a 30-second snooze while waiting for the results.
I was this tired.
We got this:
Wow.
I had the hubby look at it in case my eyes were playing tricks on me.
After all, I just woke up from my 30-second sleep.
He went to the nearest pharmacy to get the digital kit while I gulped down cups of water.
I wasn't quite convinced about the results.
And we got this:
We knew exactly when it happened.
It was that one and only time when, coincidentally, none of us were harbouring any "baby thoughts".(Sorry if that's TMI, I have to document this down.)
Wow.
We are expecting!
