3 months old

Dear Baby,
You're three months old today!
Just that day, Daddy was saying this with a slight tinge of sadness while shopping for your pajamas...
"Baby will be officially a baby soon. No longer a newborn."

The thing is, Baby, you don't exactly behave like a newborn. Some days even Mommy forgets and I'll tell my friends that "when she was a baby..." and "when she was young...". They'll often exclaim with "she's STILL a baby!!"

You behave like a five-month-old my dear.

And some days, we feel you're growing too fast. (All the more why we should spend time with you..! At this point, Mommy is really glad I chose to be a stay-at-home-mom.)

Something new this month...
Started blowing bubbles with your mouth
Giving smiles when you wake up
Recognising people
Searches for Daddy and Mommy
Smiles when blow raspberries on your tummy
Plays with toys now
Gives temper tantrum cries
Trying to flip
Flipped
Trying to scoot
Lifts yourself up when you grab onto our fingers.

You love
Baths
Flipping
Being able to touch your toys
Playing with your fingers

You hate
Washing your hair
Cleaning your tongue

We are slowly understanding your little quirks and what they mean. Great indicators for Daddy and Mommy!
We love it when you
* place your fist (sometimes fingers) on you cheek when you are about to go to sleep
* clasp both hands together in front of your chest when you feel the need to suck/nurse.

Too cute, Baby. Too cute.

Happy 3 months old, my little bub!

Love you tonnes,
Mommy
